I have been fabricating a test jig for crimp pull testing. Today, I ran a test of the PRO-HST heat shrink crimp tool and it exceeded Mil-Spec by over 50 pounds! No surprises here. I plan to test more tools as well as battery lug crimp tools so stay tuned.
This morning I grabbed a 1/0 Jumper wire from my scrap bin to push the pull tester a bit harder. I need to make some design changes.. D’oh
